Enough to find yours.

She found her corner early. She never asked for this.

The shelf
could wait.
Content.
Consumed.
Fed until hollow.

Some collectors find what they like and stay there. No restlessness, no blind buys, no Tuesday surprises. She was good right here. The rest of the library would still be there when she was ready. She is what she watches. She watches what she is. The algorithm kept its end of the bargain. The feed learned her comfort, then her silence, then her resignation.

Somewhere beneath the static, a faint voice calls out. It used to be louder, but it’s all just noise now. She slowly surrenders to the echoes and drifts further into the warm anesthesia of familiarity.

Built for the collection-minded

Plunge treats your library like the curated work it is — not a content feed to scroll past.

01

Browse at depth

The Exploration Scale adjusts how adventurous your browsing goes — from safe comfort watches to hidden gems at the far edge of your library. Your taste profile sharpens every time you watch, skip, or mark a favorite. The more you use it, the better it knows you.

02

One app, three servers

First-class support for Jellyfin, Emby, and Plex from a single codebase. Switch backends without losing your preferences. Jellyfin is the default — fully open-source, no account required, no internet dependency for local playback.

03

Five themes, one app

Pantheon, Petrichor, Panache, Purge, Pelagic — five hand-crafted dark palettes, each a complete visual identity. Or generate your own from a single hex color. All themes are built from a full token set; switching is a single attribute change on the root element.

04

Queue and go

Build a queue from any browse or search result. Plunge tracks your position, reports playback sessions back to your server, and picks up where you left off across devices. Session reporting keeps your watch history accurate — Jellyfin, Emby, and Plex all stay in sync.

05

Discover by mood

Browse by genre, decade, director, or cast without typing a word. When you know the vibe but not the title, Plunge navigates by feel and surfaces what fits — from comfort rewatches to the blind buy from 2009 still waiting for its turn.

06

Your data stays home

Nothing leaves your network. No analytics, no telemetry, no account required beyond your media server. Plunge authenticates directly against Jellyfin, Emby, or Plex — your infrastructure is the only thing it reports to.

A theme for every mood

Five hand-tuned dark palettes. Every one designed as a complete visual system — not generated, not a hue rotation.

Pantheon
Cold stone, iron, Roman concrete.
Petrichor
Rain on dry earth. Moss, olive, organic.
Panache
Burnt orange and deep purple. Dramatic.
Purge
Blood red on near-black. High contrast.
Pelagic
Deep ocean. Bioluminescent teal.
Custom
One hex color. Full palette generated.
The product exists to serve the user and the people they watch with. Not a catalog. Not advertisers. Not a corporate growth metric.

It may not be what you expect, but you’ll always get what you want.

Leading Man Breakout Performance

Champ Blanche

Pan troglodytes · Represented by the Morris Agency · 20 years in the business Ailuropoda melanoleuca · Unrepresented · Available for features and streaming

Champ has spent the better part of two decades doing exactly what the part demands — going deeper. Liner notes read cover to cover. B-sides catalogued. Imports tracked down. He was the obvious choice before the auditions even opened. The casting director called it a formality. The studio called it inspired. Champ called it Tuesday. Blanche is widely considered the foremost authority on the comfort rewatch. She has the rare and largely useless gift of knowing exactly what she wants to watch, then watching something else entirely for six hours. Her range is technically vast. Her actual range is three series and a documentary she keeps meaning to finish. The director didn’t need to give her notes. She didn’t need direction. She needed a better streaming interface.

Selected credits: Digging for Gold (1971) · The Sunday Flip (1974) · Import/Export (1977) · Never Skip the B-Side (1979) · Pudding Cups: The Authorized Story (1982) Selected credits: Still Loading (short, 2024) · At Least It’s Something (series, 2022) · The Third Rewatch (documentary, unfinished) · What Are You Even Watching (podcast, 3 episodes before cancellation)
